1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how JPG & Photos to PDF: Pagefit ("Pagefit" or "the App") handles information.

Pagefit is designed to work entirely on your device. Turning photos and scans into PDFs, editing them and keeping them all happen on your iPhone or iPad, not on our servers.

2. No Account, Analytics, Ads or Tracking

You don't need an account, and there is nothing to sign in to.

The App contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising code. We don't track you across apps, websites or devices.

3. Photos and Camera

You choose photos in Apple's photo picker. The App receives only the photos you pick, and never sees the rest of your photo library. If a photo is stored only in iCloud, iOS downloads it when you pick it.

The camera is used only to scan paper documents, and the App asks for camera access only when you start a scan. You can turn camera access off at any time in iOS Settings; the rest of the App keeps working without it.

4. Processing on Your Device

Converting, cropping, filters, compression and searchable text (text recognition) all run on your device. The App doesn't upload your photos, scans or PDFs to us or to anyone else.

Your photos and PDFs never leave your device unless you share or export them.

5. Photo Details Inside Your PDFs

The location where a photo was taken (GPS) is left out of your PDFs, unless you turn it on for that one export. That choice is never saved as a default.

Other details stored with your photos, such as the date they were taken and the camera model, are kept in the PDF and travel with any copy you share.

6. Where Your Documents Are Stored

Your PDFs, and the one unfinished document you were working on, are kept in the App's private storage on your device.

They may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups, depending on your device settings. Deleting them in the App, or deleting the App, removes them from your device.

7. Password-Protected PDFs

If you protect a PDF with a password, the password is stored in the iOS keychain on your device, so you can reopen the PDF with Face ID or your passcode.

Face ID and your passcode are checked by iOS. The App never receives your biometric data, and your passwords never leave your device through the App.

8. Purchases and Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details.

The App uses RevenueCat to check whether Pro is active and to restore purchases. RevenueCat identifies your device with an anonymous ID that isn't linked to your name or email address. It receives:

  • that anonymous ID;
  • your App Store purchase history for the App;
  • your device's locale and currency, iOS version and App version.

RevenueCat never receives your photos, documents or payment details. You can read RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.

9. App Store and Ratings

Apple handles downloads, your Apple Account and the in-app rating prompt under Apple's own policies. When the App asks for a rating, the prompt is Apple's, and your rating is handled by Apple like any other App Store rating.

10. Your Choices and Data Requests

We don't hold a copy of your photos or PDFs, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. To remove them, delete them in the App or delete the App.

To have the anonymous purchase records held by RevenueCat deleted, email us at janusz.dzieciol.dev@gmail.com.

11. Children's Privacy

We don't collect personal data through the App, so we don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
